Many travelers say the resort looks attractive, with villas that include private pools, though a few feel it appears older than the photos suggest. The breakfast buffet is the clear favorite—wide variety, unlimited plates, and especially attentive brunch staff. Service throughout is described as warm and helpful. Several guests warn the property sits far from local hot spots, so Grab rides add up. One person noted the à-la-carte food felt average with few Thai dishes, and rooms can be spread far apart.

The property is very luxurious. It is a very large property so in order to get around, they have golf carts driving around that move you around. You can call them in advance and they are quick to come. Our room was a villa facing the ocean. The view and the room were both stunning. It was extremely comfortable. The breakfast onsite was amazing. Its an open buffet with a ton of different selections. The other restaurants that we tried were just ok and were very over priced. Some of the food we ordered poolside was good, but nothing to write home about. The staff were al extremely friendly, paid a lot of attention, and went out of their way to do little things to make our stay personal and enjoyable. Really excellent and very service oriented.

Loved the hotel, our room was fantastic, and the breakfast buffet (which was included!) was out of this world. Already thinking about going back to Koh Samui and potentially the Ritz again next year!

The breakfast was the highlight of this property. Every morning we were so excited to rush down to breakfast and make several plates of the food! There were seemingly unlimited options! The room was also amazing - nothing like a private pool! The staff was helpful when we had questions or concerns. The location was great as well. Overall, a great stay!

We enjoyed a lot

The Ritz-Carlton was lovely. I would say the only negatives were that our rooms were really far away from each other and the food was pretty average. I would have liked more Thai options. Otherwise the staff was lovely and the trip perfectly fit our needs.

The resort was beautiful, breakfast was delicious, villa was very pretty. A little older in person than it appears in images, very far from local hot spots had to get a grab everywhere. Brunch staff were the sweetest!!
