Many travelers say rooms are spacious and tech-savvy, but several find the 1990s décor dated and want softer beds. The Ginza location wins praise for easy shopping, dining, and direct subway access. Breakfast earns near-universal raves, yet other dining splits opinion—one guest celebrated the Chinese restaurant, while others called Peter, tempura, pizza, and udon mediocre for the cost. Families note helpful child amenities and stroller loans, but one parent criticized the pool’s age minimum and lack of relaxed kid spaces, so the hotel best fits couples or families with older children.

Jennifer was a delight to work with! Not only did she secure adjoining rooms for us, she got us a better rate and better hotel perks, none of which we would have been able to do on our own. She always had great local recommendations as well.

The staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay. They were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, which made my experience truly enjoyable. I was also very impressed with the Peninsula Time benefit. Being able to check in early and check out late allowed me to enjoy a much longer stay, which greatly enhanced my overall experience. I was extremely satisfied with my visit and would gladly stay here again.

This is second time staying at the Peninsula. We could live there. Customer service impeccable. Food delicious. Location quiet, walkable to Ginza and Tokyo Station. Highly recommended.
