部瀨名露台酒店The Busena Terrace

This resort is beautiful. Overall first impression was great. Friendly attentive staff, welcome drink, and beautiful view. The rooms were huge, and very comfortable. The aesthetcs of the resort were stunning. Unfortunately, we were unaware that this hotel had such a strict policy regarding tattoos. Both my husband and myself have tattoos, and we were not aware that this would be an issue at this property until a week before our trip, where we received an email with the first line of the email saying how tattoos are not allowed, and must be covered in any public area including the lobby, and cannot use the pool or hotel beach with tattoos. At this point, it was to late to cancel and get our money back. This was very disappointing, as the whole idea of booking this hotel was to get to go to the pool/beach and relax. This hotel is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. With the plan being that we were going to just spend time at the resort, that was not a concern, but with the tattoo issue, we didn't spend much time at the hotel, and ended up driving back to Naha everyday to find things to do. So I would not recommend this stay to anyone with tattoos. The other thing we weren't very happy about was the price point of the food and drink. We went to the buffet for a quick snack at 5:00 as our dinner reservation wasn't until 8:30. The buffet did not have much to offer, and so we only had a couple little things on a small plate each, and one drink each and the bill came to $185 for the two of us. I was shocked! After that we decided to check the price point of the restaurants that we had reservations at, it didn't seem worth the price point as well, so we ended up going to Naha for dinners. We are foodies, and are happy to pay premium pricing for food and drink when its worth it, but the price point of food and drinks deemed way too high for what you got unfortunately! It was the same thing at the bar for a drink, with the bill coming to $40.00 for one beer and one cocktail. Although I found the nightly rate of the resort very fair, I would not recommend the hotel due to the price point of the food and drink, as well as would not recommend to anyone with tattoos.

We had a fabulous stay at Busena Terrace. It was the last stop on our two-week honeymoon and was the definition of luxury. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we received incredible customer service. The hospitality was top notch. We were pleased with the facilities, the room and the food. The female-only spa was a highlight, as well as the pools and beach. We ate at the buffet as well as at speciality restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying on Okinawa.
