This hotel is stunning. Located just off Nara Park, you're minutes from dozens of temples as well as all the deer your heart desires. Service is attentive, the rooms spacious (many with a private onsen which gets serviced daily upon request), the house products are lovely, and they provide yukatas, bathrobes AND pajama sets for your comfort. A daily champagne hour is luxurious and a wonderful way to start off an evening while you're in town. The japanese breakfast is elevated and we looked forward to it every morning. We'll definitely stay here again.

Shisui was a truly special stay, a perfect blend of luxury, tradition, and serenity. The location, nestled right by Nara Park, made it easy to explore while still feeling completely secluded and peaceful. The interior design was refined and elegant, with beautiful touches of Japanese craftsmanship. Service was warm and impeccable, and every moment felt thoughtfully curated. I would absolutely stay here again for a relaxing retreat in Nara.
