It was a short but a very pleasant experience. Hotel is clean and spacious and regardless of its size, it never felt like it was busy. Food was delicious, specially in the bar area. We had the most amazing surprise by Natalia who asked the hotel to arrange a delightful surprise for my cousin’s birthday. So they decorated the room.
Although this hotel was not our favorite of the trip, we wanted to highlight that the service was really great. All of the staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and we were greeted with a sweet honeymoon surprise in our room. The concierge helped us with directions, making dinner reservations, and coordinating with our drivers for pickup for our activities. Another highlight was the location of this hotel - it was walking distance to all of the night markets, bars, and restaurants we wanted to go to. We felt very safe in the area also. The reason it was not our favorite was because it felt more like a family-friendly hotel, rather than a romantic honeymoon one. We assumed it had to do with the fact that they had a huge pool with a waterpark, making it of course appealing to kids. Also, the hotel and room felt a little dated in terms of the amenities, and appearance. It did not give us a luxury feeling, however we were barely there as our schedule was busy. We only ate at the breakfast restaurant, which was very plentiful and had great options, but was pretty crowded and found that we had to wait in line for a table in the mornings.
The overall experience was lovely. The service was excellent and we absolutely loved our room overlooking the pool area. It was so serene. Everything was immaculate and we can’t wait to return in the near future!
