Honestly, probably my favorite place I've ever stayed...and I think back about it often. The ENTIRE experience from arrival to departure is thoughtful, special, and seamless. All staff are incredibly kind and helped to make our experience what it was. Every space on the property is exceptionally beautiful and it's a joy to just soak it all in. Included with the stay is a golf cart, or "buggie," that you use to get around the property as well as the whole island if you want to explore, which we found both fun and helpful.
The rooms are very private and tucked into the beautiful landscape; they're comfortable and spacious, with all the amenities you'd need. Everything is kept incredibly clean and housekeeping services are extremely discreet; while a daily turndown service feels a little unnecessary, qualia is so thoughtful about it to help you wind down for the evening—with essential oils burning, herbal tea brewing, and soft mats laid out for you by the side of the bed—you'll definitely want to opt in.
The included breakfast is out of this world (this is not your regular hotel breakfast) and has tons of options to keep it interesting every day; all of the dishes are fresh, creative, delicious, and even plated beautifully. The setting for breakfast at Long Pavilion is stunning: you'll see immaculate blue waters, bright green foliage and colorful flowers, and every now and then a cockatoo might pop by and perch itself on the railing next to you.
The pool area is tranquil and has plenty of space for guests to spread out a bit—around the pool, in cabanas by a grassy area, or on the sand facing the ocean. I will say the beach at the property is so rocky that it's not that enjoyable to swim there, but the staff can boat you over to other, more sandy, beaches nearby if you arrange for it. The spa is no different than the rest of the property—serene and beautiful, with open-air walkways, space to spread out from other guests, and all the amenities needed; the services we got there were also fantastic.
We really enjoyed every minute of our time at qualia. It's a bit of a splurge but between the available amenities and activities, beautiful property, amazing food, kind staff, and comfortable accommodations, it is totally worth it.
