10/10 experience! The service was impeccable, the rooms were beautiful, and the entire property felt peaceful and luxurious. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. Beautiful serene gardens with a koi pond. Breakfast buffet and Japanese style breakfast is delicious. Staff is so hospitable and kind. Top notch service. Top notch hospitality. The little attention to details such as leaving an eyeglass cleaning cloth after seeing my glasses is amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kyoto. The property was beautiful, very clean, and the accommodations were excellent. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. The food was also amazing — especially the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety and was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel experience and we would absolutely stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

The service was top notch and the breakfast buffet was outstanding! Location is on a beautiful 800 year old garden but we wished we were closer to old town to walk to the restaurants. Compared to other hotel brands in Japan and other Four Seasons, it isn’t the best one we have experienced. But all in all we enjoyed it.

The hotel was nice but a little dated. We were there during festive period so the breakfast restaurant was quite crowded in the morning and the gym was somewhat small with limited equipment.

We really loved this hotel, especially the location, which was close to many of the sights we wanted to see. While it did not feel quite as exclusive as expected, it absolutely delivered on luxury, and what truly set it apart was the personal service. Everyone we interacted with felt genuinely warm and approachable, more like friends than staff, without any sense of pretension. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the koi pond, which added a very calming, distinctly Kyoto touch. The tea ceremony was a highlight of our stay and is highly recommended. Breakfast at the restaurant was also excellent, and the small details, like providing printed taxi instructions with our destination, really stood out and made getting around effortless.
