The hotel combines tranquility, sophistication, and authentic Japanese elegance in the most beautiful way. Especially during the busy cherry blossom season, the hotel felt like a true sanctuary in the middle of Kyoto’s vibrant energy. Returning there after exploring the city each day was incredibly calming and restorative. The atmosphere was peaceful and deeply authentic. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and a timeless design that perfectly blends luxury with traditional Japanese aesthetics. The onsen experience was a true highlight and made the stay feel even more special and relaxing. We also loved being able to spend time in the hotel wearing traditional Kymonos throughout the property, which added to the unique and immersive experience. Agneta from Fora Travels curated this experience perfectly for us. Every detail of the itinerary felt highly personalized and carefully considered, making the entire journey effortless and deeply enjoyable.
