Many travelers call the villas immaculate, spacious, and perfectly air-conditioned, and say the over-water rooms balance luxury with practicality. The entire resort is praised as spotless and well kept, with no reports of noise, service lapses, or maintenance problems. Food earns universal acclaim; one couple raved about a private candle-light dinner prepared by a Maldivian chef. Guests keep busy with snorkeling gear, kayaks, table tennis, and other amenities between sunbathing sessions. The general consensus is that staff are “the most amazing” visitors have met, anticipating needs, remembering preferences, and arranging surprise celebrations.

The resort was perfect and just what we needed for our honeymoon! I loved it and could not recommend more for other couples looking for true relaxation.

The staff was so welcoming, the service was excellent. Our room was immaculate with service 2x a day. The beaches and pools were gorgeous with food and drink service. It was wonderful to be able to travel to all 3 islands and enjoy the restaurants and bars at all. The spa was an incredible experience.

Our stay at Anantara Veli was exceptional from start to finish. The resort delivers a true luxury experience, highlighted by stunning overwater villas, crystal-clear surroundings, and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere that makes it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The service was consistently outstanding, every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and highly accommodating. The food was another major highlight. Every meal was excellent, and we would strongly recommend the food and drink package, as it adds both value and convenience given the quality of dining on property. One of the biggest advantages is the ability to access the neighboring Anantara property for additional dining options, which expands variety significantly. The resort itself is on the smaller, more intimate side, which we personally enjoyed as it reinforces the calm, relaxing environment. At the same time, there are still plenty of excursion options available for those who want to be active, from water activities to island experiences. We also appreciated that there were no real downsides worth mentioning, everything felt well-managed and thoughtfully designed. Overall, this is an outstanding destination for couples or anyone looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and high-quality service in a breathtaking setting.

I just got back from the Anantara Veli Resort in the Maldives, and it was amazing. The overwater villa was spotless and super comfortable, and I was seriously impressed by how good the air conditioning was—perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. The food was top-notch, and they even arranged a candlelight dinner with a Maldivian chef just for us. It was an unforgettable experience. The staff was incredible, always making sure we had everything we needed. We snorkeled, played table tennis, kayaked, and basically lived in paradise for a few days. Bottom line: if you’re looking for the perfect mix of luxury and relaxation, this place is a must. Highly recommend it!

The resort was beautiful and clean. All of the staff personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. We genuinely enjoyed all the aspects of the entire resort especially the food and the amenities of the villa!
