Many travelers say service is exceptional, with warm staff who smoothly arrange cooking classes, river boat tours, and other requests. Rooms are spacious and spotless, and the tranquil, well-kept grounds feel like an oasis in the city. Breakfast earns rave reviews for its broad buffet, halal dishes, bottomless mimosas, and à la carte plates such as Smoked Salmon Benedict, while the pool and spa stay busy. Suite guests enjoy daily happy hour and free laundry, though one family found crossing a busy street with young children inconvenient. Aside from a single complaint about a booking mix-up, the consensus is a luxurious stay many plan to repeat.

We would give this place more than 5 stars if we could! Everything was perfect! My husband and I spent a few days of our honeymoon at Anantara Chiang Mai and after staying at other hotels we wished we stayed at Anantara longer! The staff are all so accommodating and do it with a smile! The breakfast buffet was also the best we had in all of Thailand! 10/10 recommend staying here!!

The Anantara was so gorgeous and serene, with amazing service and great food. We absolutely loved the property, and felt so taken care of. Our spa experience was incredible, and our meals were all fantastic. We loved our room and the ease of getting from the hotel to key parts of the city.

The Anantara Chiang Mai is a gorgeous property and definitely felt very "Thai" from the moment we walked in. It is located directly on the river and the staff is exceptional. The pool and spa are both very relaxing. It is also walking distance to the night market which is a must visit in your stay in Chiang Mai. The breakfast included was excellent and we made sure to have all the Thai classics each morning. We would definitely stay at an Anantara property again!

We loved the access to walk everywhere. The hotel is a very serene oasis in a busy city. The room was nice although slightly dated in my opinion.

3 stars only because of their horrible customer service when I told them we had booked the resort and not the shared suites and they tried to gaslight me. Otherwise, it pains me to say the hotel is great and location is super convenient (walking distance to night market and incredible restaurants, or short tuk tuk ride away).
